Funding the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act!

Funding request for $8 million over the biennium to:

1. Fund necessary services for runaway and homeless youth
2. Develop new capacity to serve youth statewide.
3. Provide a comprehensive evaluation of how we effectively serve youth

Funds supplement and leverage more effective use of a strong private-public partnership exemplified in youth service providers such as The Bridge and YouthLink in Minneapolis to LSS Youth Services in Duluth and Brainerd, and Evergreen in Bemidji.
